Bio

Since completing my MA and starting work on my PHD, I have been increasingly interested in auto/biographical and bo(a)rder narratives of bilingual Eastern-European exile/exiled writers, especially those residing in the Western Hemisphere (my piece on David Albahari's work in the area was recently published as part of the Life Writing: the Spirit of the Age and the State of the Art anthology, edited by Drs. Jensen and Jordan, with Kingston University, UK). Alongside my professional work in international education, I divide my research time by looking at the relationship between memory in layered textuality (esp. US dramatic texts) and critical pedagogy (i.e., how can the self learn and expand while teaching?)
